News & Blogs

Latest Updates

In 2011, our late founder, Ted S. Miller began writing weekly blogs, which were published on the MillerClapperton website.  He also wrote articles for Metal Architecture magazine, which were published monthly in a special section titled “Ted’s MCM Corner.”  The articles became a staple read in the metal construction industry, but what Ted left behind when he passed in 2012 was a legacy, not only by the company he built but also in his writings.

To honor Ted’s legacy and revive this tradition, MillerClapperton has picked up where Ted left off by starting a weekly blog, which launched in June 2017.  It’s called the Friday5, which features 5 quick highlights for the week; topics of interest that are easy to digest.  The Friday5 includes something for everyone with carefully curated content ranging from architecture & design to construction industry news, the latest tech trends, project inspiration and even features/benefits of the systems and materials we fabricate and install.

Below you will find links to our Friday5 newsletter, company announcements, and Ted S. Miller’s original blog posts.
