MillerClapperton is a national fabricator and regional installer of multiple wall cladding products and highly-engineered attachment systems. Our historic focus has been on Metal Composite Material (MCM), but architecture and construction is changing and projects now include many different types of exterior cladding products. MillerClapperton has evolved with the industry and continues to offer experience and expertise along with many of these new types of products.
Metal Composite Material
Formed by bonding two metal skins to a highly-engineered plastic core, Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels have been used in North American construction for over 30 years. The name of the product category evolved from ACM to MCM to reflect the introduction of new skin metals.
Solid Plate Aluminum Panels (PAP) are the predecessors of metal composite material panels, and they are still in use today. Plate Aluminum Panels have many benefits that allow for design flexibility and durability.
High Pressure Laminate
High Pressure Laminate (HPL) material is produced by saturating multiple layers of kraft paper with phenolic resin. A layer of printed décor paper is placed on top of the kraft paper before pressing. The resulting sandwich is fused together under heat and pressure (more than 1,000 PSI).
Fiber Cement Panels are a composite material that consists of cement, cellulose, and mineral materials, reinforced by a visible matrix. The material encompasses the characteristics of cement, whereas the fibers render its surface textured yet smooth.
Profiled / Single Skin
Profiled / Single Skin Metal panels allow architects to design many different looks using desirable traits of metal at and economical budget.
This rainscreen panel system is available in a variety of formats, shades and joint types. It’s elegant and natural. The ceramic colors remain constant and strong even when exposed to tough weathering conditions.
