Associated Builders and Contractors has released the results it fourth annual Top Performers link, which “ranks its commercial and industrial contractor members that build long-lasting, high-quality construction projects, based on work hours. To be eligible, Top Performers demonstrated world-class safety performance by achieving Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System, which make the top-performing contractors more than six times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average.”

The list identified the Top 200 Performers, Top 125 General Contractors, Top Specialty Contractors, and Top Performers by Market. Leading the Top Performers list for 2022 are Turner Industries Group, Balfour Beatty, and Brown & Root Industrial Services. To view the complete lists, click below.

Orlando International Airport is the seventh-busiest airport in the country and serves as the transportation hub for visitors to nearby attractions, as well as business travelers. The area also has the second-fastest growing population among the nation’s 30 largest cities, which also contributed to the region’s ambitious investment in infrastructure in and around the airport. One of these infrastructure projects is a new south terminal at the airport that will help meet the needs of residents, visitors, and businesses throughout the region. When it opens this summer, the 1.3-million-square-foot South Terminal will be the world’s first LEED v4 airport campus, which will include a striking feature – the “prow”, a 66,000-lb arched element atop the roof entrance and cantilevered out 50 feet. MillerClapperton is fabricating 4,500 square feet of Metal Composite Material for the project.

The festival includes 12 feature-length films and a selection of short films from around the world that explore innovation and creativity in sustainability, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, as well as the important contributions of indigenous architects and the dynamic nature of design leadership. Highlighted in this year’s festival are legendary icons like Frank Lloyd Wright and Marcel Breuer, renowned contemporary Danish architect Dorte Mandrup, in addition to other architects making their marks around the world.
