Kubota Research & Development North America was established in 2022 in Gainesville, GA, as a new research and development center for riding mowers, utility vehicles, tractor implements, and other products developed primarily in North America.
The 133,000-square-foot facility on 300 acres has space for offices, a turf farm, high-speed vehicle test course, a trail course, and a vehicle test site including a digging field. There’s also a bench testing facility with a low-temperature test building to test M8 tractors, Kubota’s highest horsepower tractor.
The center is powered by renewable energy and built on sustainable principles, including being powered in part by solar sunflowers and the parking lot features a solar-powered roof to support electric vehicle charging stations.
For this project, MillerClapeprton fabricated and installed 2,900 square feet of Metal Composite Material (MCM) panel, 2,500 square feet of High-Pressure Laminate Panels and 2,700 square feet of Fiber Cement panels.
