Zane Miller, Chief Executive Officer

Zane S. Miller serves as Chief Executive Officer of MillerClapperton, where he leads the company’s strategic direction, operational performance, and cultural vision. A native of Smyrna, Georgia, Zane began working summers and holidays at the company before officially joining full-time in 2005 after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration from Brewton-Parker College. He has held roles of increasing responsibility—from estimator to Chief Operating Officer—before stepping into the CEO role. Zane is a member of C12, a devoted Braves fan, and enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their three children. The Miller family worships at Passion City Church – Cumberland. 

Zeke Miller, Chief Revenue Officer

Zeke Miller began his career at MillerClapperton in 1990,
working in the shop before quickly transitioning into estimating and sales.
Over the years, he became a key driver of the Company’s business development
efforts and was named President in 2011. Now serving as Chief Revenue
Officer, Zeke leads the Company’s Preconstruction segment while also directing
overall strategic growth and vision. He remains MillerClapperton’s
top-performing Preconstruction Specialist and is deeply involved in project-specific
strategy and client engagement. A native of Smyrna, Georgia, Zeke enjoys life
with his wife Tara, has two children, with Coleman working alongside him, and
is a proud grandfather.

Jerrie Self, Director of Finance

Jerrie began her career in the construction industry when she joined MillerClapperton as a receptionist and bookkeeper. She worked closely with MillerClapperton’s late founder, Ted S. Miller, and over the years, her responsibilities grew as she received more advanced financial training and took on more significant roles and tasks within the company. Jerrie now serves as the Director of Finance. Her presence and influence are integral to the fabric of MillerClapperton. When she’s not at work, Jerrie loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Alex Held, Director of Business Development

Alex joined MillerClapperton in 2021 and currently serves as Director of Business Improvement, where he leads initiatives that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and support the company’s long-term strategic goals. He brings a thoughtful, data-driven approach to solving complex challenges and enabling continuous improvement across departments. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of the South: Sewanee and an MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Outside of the office, Alex enjoys golfing, assisting at the traditional Mass, and spending quality time with his family.

Logan Mauldin, Director of Project Management

Logan joined MillerClapperton in 2008 and was later promoted to Project Director in 2013. Logan oversees a team of more than 30 senior and junior project managers in addition to managing budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and the day-to-day operations his department. Logan’s team ensures that MillerClapperton delivers jobs on schedule and within budget and they are actively working on 170+ projects at any given time. Outside the office, Logan spends his time with his wife Angela and 5 kids. You can find watching his kids play sports, or even snow skiing and spending time at the lake when he has downtime.

Greg Samples, Director of Manufacturing

Greg Samples started his employment with MillerClapperton in 1993, and has worked in all aspects of the production department and purchasing departments. He has helped establish many production standards, QAQC standards, vendor relationships, and employee safety standards that MillerClapperton uses today. As the Director of Manufacturing, he oversees production facilities to ensure efficiency, quality, LEAN manufacturing standards, and innovation. In addition to his manufacturing leadership, Greg manages the purchasing team, ensuring seamless procurement and supply chain operations to support the company’s success. When not at work, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and kids at the lake, off-roading, and riding motorcycles.

Jackie Joyner, Director of Engineering

Jackie is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and has 35 years in the construction industry. He was first hired at MillerClapperton as a Project Manager in 2001 and worked his way up to be the Director of Engineering in 2013. Jackie oversees all aspects of engineering operations, which includes managing a team of Project Engineers, Design Specialists, and the Field Measuring team. They work closely with Project Management, Production, and Installation on the design and detailing of the company’s systems to facilitate proper fabrication and installation of our work.

John Bilbrey, Director of Field Operations

John studied Business Management at Kennesaw State before starting with MillerClapperton in 2011 as a Junior Project Manager. He was promoted to Senior Project Manager in 2018, and that experience and knowledge has been invaluable since he took over the Field Operations Department in 2022. When not at work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, and coaches all three of his kids’ soccer teams.
