MillerClapperton’s weekly newsletter features five quick highlights for the week. The Friday5 includes something for everyone with carefully curated content ranging from architecture & design to construction industry news, the latest tech trends, and even features/benefits of the systems and materials we fabricate and install.
MillerClapperton announced it has moved company operations to a new, state-of-the-art facility 20 minutes outside downtown Atlanta. MillerClapperton’s rapid growth in recent years, combined with recent investments in equipment and technology, necessitated the move.

Norwegian Cruise Line Terminal
MillerClapperton fabricated 61,542 Square Feet of ALUCOBOND PLUS Metal Composite Material for this modern terminal design which draws inspiration from a sea creature called nautilus, with a spiraled and multi-level façade opening up to grand ocean views.
Ask The Panel Guys #12
MillerClapperton engineers, Chris Reutlinger and David Altfeld are back to discuss how a building’s structural design absorbs wind forces safely and efficiently, and the transfer of wind forces to the foundations in order to avoid structural collapse.
Products & Services
We provide installation services for the following materials: Metal Composite Material (MCM), Plate Aluminum (PAP), High Pressure Laminate (HPL), Fiber Cement, Profiled / Single Skin (PSS), Terracotta, Insulated Metal Panels (IMP), Ultra-High Pressure Concrete (UHPC), and Porcelain tiles.
MillerClapperton fabricates high-quality wall panels nationwide out of our two fabrication facilities in Atlanta, Georgia, and Mesa, Arizona. We offer a large panel selection including Metal Composite Material (MCM), Plate Aluminum (PAP), High Pressure Laminate (HPL), and Fiber Cement.
Metal Composite Material
Formed by bonding two metal skins to a highly-engineered plastic core, Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels have been used in North American construction for over 30 years. The name of the product category evolved from ACM to MCM to reflect the introduction of new skin metals.
High Pressure Laminate
High Pressure Laminate (HPL) material is produced by saturating multiple layers of kraft paper with phenolic resin. A layer of printed décor paper is placed on top of the kraft paper before pressing. The resulting sandwich is fused together under heat and pressure.
3D Laser Scanning
3D Laser Scanning is the process by which we digitally capture the spatial relationship of objects using infrared laser technology, affording us capabilities to measure and analyze highly complex or distant structures faster and to a higher degree of accuracy. We utilize this cutting-edge technology as a sophisticated form of measurement to improve efficiencies and ensure accurate fabrication of installed materials.
Our capabilities include panel fabrication, attachment systems, curved panels, MIG and TIG welding, punching, cutting, routing, drilling, tapping, and threading.
Plate Aluminum Panels (PAP) are the predecessors of Metal Composite Material panels, and they are still in use today. Plate Aluminum panels have many benefits that allow for design flexibility and durability.
Fiber Cement is a composite material that consists of cement, cellulose, and mineral materials, reinforced by a visible matrix. The material encompasses the characteristics of cement, whereas the fibers render its surface textured yet smooth.
