Recommendation: “All About U.S.: 250 Years of the United States of America”
Author: Theo Deutinger
Theo Deutinger’s new book takes a look at the U.S.’s 250-year history as infographics. Deutinger works in the fields of spatial science, urban planning, architecture and curation, and in this book, he collages America’s firsts, diagrams the proliferation of stars on the flag, collects city block sizes, traces the transatlantic slave trade, registers income inequality, proclaims the country’s worldwide cultural influence, and more. He frames the book as a birthday gift from Europe. Published by Lars Müller Publishers, the book came out September 22.
