Since 1979, customers have relied on MillerClapperton as a trusted adviser, industry leader, and specialty sub-contractor to solve their toughest project challenges.
The company started simply in the kitchen of Ted S. Miller over coffee with founding partner, Dave Clapperton. After making the choice to leave H.H. Robertson Co. where the two were among the company’s leading salespeople, Ted and Dave embarked on an ambitious, one-year business plan, which was the beginning of MillerClapperton.
MillerClapperton started as a manufacturer’s representative and grew to later include fabrication capabilities, primarily specializing in metal composite material. As we expanded, so did our capabilities and the scope of materials we work with, which now include plate aluminum, high pressure laminate, fiber cement, and more. Our services include drafting expertise, experienced project management, in-house professional engineering, 3D infrared scanning, and regional installation to ensure every project is met with custom tailored solutions to suit each individual project.
Our founders were passionate about becoming the leaders in our industry by using advanced technologies, quality materials, and rigorous testing to consistently exceed the expectations of our customers. Continuing that legacy are today’s leaders, Zeke Miller, President and Zane S. Miller, Vice-President, who represent the company’s heritage while also paving the way for the future.
MillerClapperton has been selected to provide cladding systems for monumental projects in 44 states (and counting), as well as in nine countries. Our project success stories from around the world demonstrate why customers trust us as a knowledgeable and collaborative partner for their most important projects.
At MillerClapperton, we take care of our own and care for people beyond our business relationships and organizational ties. This creates a sense of belonging as we build a business and service our customers. We understand the importance of balancing hard work and a healthy family life.
Deep rooted in MillerClapperton’s foundation is honesty and integrity. We will always do what is right even when it is difficult. Our word is our bond and we will keep our promises.
At MillerClapperton we care about the outcome. Whether it is with our work and the products and services we provide or how we interact with our employees and our customers.
MillerClapperton follows the Golden Rule and treats others with the same respect as we would like to receive. We believe in mutual fairness and will be respectful of everyone’s needs.

Ted S. Miller Blood Drive
Since 2012, MillerClapperton has enthusiastically supported the American Red Cross by holding an annual Blood Drive in honor of the company’s late co-founder, Ted S. Miller. It has been a way for us as a company to not only honor his legacy, but also a way to give back to our community.
In 2020, we thanked all of our MillerClapperton staff, friends, and family for participating in the 9th Annual Ted S. Miller Memorial Blood Drive in which we collected 31 units, and potentially saved 93 lives.
The opportunity for us to do more as a company presented itself in 2018 and we embraced the challenge by not only committing ourselves to a great cause, but also pledging to make this an annual initiative to support many worthwhile charities. We put our heart into our work and we wanted to apply this same passion to helping our community.
The company’s philanthropic initiative is known as MillerClapperton Cares. The name speaks to our commitment to social responsibility and the impact we can make when we work together. To date, our colleagues, friends, and associates have raised over $30,000 in aid of many great causes, including The Kyle Pease Foundation and Calvary Children’s Home.
