The Academic Center of Excellence (ACE) on Florida State University’s Panama City campus overlooks North Bay and doubled the academic capacity for the campus. The 105,000 square foot facility includes laboratories for engineering and criminology, in addition to underwater crime scene investigations. Also housed in this three-story building are 21 classrooms, a library, and learning center. MillerClapperton fabricated and installed nearly 4,000 square feet of Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels, which accent the top of the rotunda at the center’s main entrance, as well as the soffits and columns lining the drive to the main entry.
