The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) at Gulf Coast State College is a three-story, 100,000-square-foot facility that features technology enriched programs such as robotics, Autotronics, sustainable building technologies, architecture, and engineering. The project earned LEED Gold certification and boasts green roofs with event spaces, a demonstration kitchen, and outdoor seating with wind turbines and PV solar panels for teaching and demonstration.
Reflecting the advanced learning happening inside and out, Florida Architects designed a beautiful and modern facade, accented with Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels. MillerClapperton fabricated and installed nearly 49,000 square feet of material for this outstanding project.
