#1 SNIPPET TOOL

Have you ever wished you could take a screenshot of just a small portion of your screen? Well, we did, and that led us to find this very handy tool that we would like to share with you. If you use a Microsoft computer, the “Snipping Tool” is what you are looking for. It is a screenshot utility that is included in each Windows operating system (OS) since Windows Vista. The tool allows you to take screenshots of an open window, rectangular areas, a free-form area, or the entire screen. The snips can be stored as your standard image files (PNG, GIF, or JPEG), and the tool provides basic image editing features like different colored pens to annotate the image, an eraser, and a highlighter.

#2 MCM MANUFACTURES

Dear architects, designers, and spec writers; would you like to know an easy way to reduce your costs of the metal composite material (MCM) panels on your project?

All four MCM manufacturers produce a quality product that is by-and-large comparable to one another. However, they all have particular niches that distinguish them from their competitors. This translates in their pricing where they can be more or less competitive in certain pricing scenarios. Also, each manufacturer has different relationships with the hundreds of fabricators, which can result in more competitive pricing.

#3 BUILDING ENCLOSURE BREAKING NEWS PAGE

Another great way to stay on top of all the latest industry-related news and information is by visiting the NEWS tab on Building Enclosure’s website. Building Enclosure is a technical online resource for design and education. Building Enclosure covers architecture practices, building codes, and details for the building envelope in commercial and residential construction.
