The Friday5 is now delivered to thousands of readers each week, and with that kind of reach, there is a lot of pressure for us to make sure we do not have any typos or grammar issues. To help us do that we have discovered an online grammar and spelling checker called GRAMMARLY.
Grammarly works with Microsoft Word and Outlook and also offers browser extensions for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. As with most apps these days, it has a free version that provides you enhanced spelling, grammar, and punctuation checking before enticing you to a premium version that enhances vocabulary usage, suggests citations, and even has a plagiarism checker.
We highly recommend the app/extension and encourage you to check it out.

Puerto Rico Coliseum
The featured project this week is an oldie but a goodie, the Puerto Rico Coliseum. The largest indoor facility in Puerto Rico boasts a seating capacity of 18,500, is 450,000 square-feet, and cost $252.6 million to build. For this project, we fabricated over 113,000 total square-feet of MCM for this project that covers the exterior façade, exterior underbelly of the high roof, elevator towers, canopies and stair covers as well as some interior elements at the main entrance.

Mercedes-Benz USA Inc. (MBUSA) Headquarters
MillerClapperton is currently working on the new $93 million Mercedes-Benz Headquarters in Sandy Springs, GA. The 250,000-square-foot facility rests on 12 acres and will house approximately 1,000 MBUSA employees. MillerClapperton will contribute over 12,000 square-feet of MCM by Reynobond and 3,500 square-feet of profiled panels by Kalzip in two custom colors, Silver Shadow and Bright Silver. In addition to installing 3,000 square-feet of Vert-A-Cade screen wall panels, Millerclapperton is also fabricating 5,000 linear-feet of sunshades for the project. The headquarters will include a “technology center” where engineering services and product testing will be performed while also featuring a coffee shop, fitness center, and a child care facility.
