MillerClapperton, through, the MCA will continue to follow how the facts relate to construction codes in England and how this knowledge can be used in the United States and Canadian construction codes.  The MCA’s goal is to assure that the learnings from this tragic event make responsible construction safer in North America.

Discovering new tools like this one is just another reason why we encourage companies to get involved in industry related associations. This app provides recommendations to prevent heat-related illnesses and to reduce heat stress in outdoor workers, and it is based on local weather conditions used to calculate the heat index.

This week we finished installation on the One Overton Park building and parking garage in Atlanta, GA.  MillerClapperton fabricated and installed over 300 MCM panels with the 1 inch joint design on the this state-of-the-art facility which is planned to house high-end companies in the growing Cumberland area surrounding the new SunTrust Park.  The One Overton Park complex has an extraordinary view of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, Buckhead and Downtown Atlanta. With sustainability being a primary focus, this project earned the LEED-EB: O&M 2008 Gold Certification Award.
