The International Color Awards honors achievements in color photography, which is now in its 13th year. This year’s entries exceeded 6,000 and comprised works from 73 countries, bringing together a large community of both professional and amateur photographers from around the world. The diverse body of work spans thirty-seven categories and reflect a myriad of cultures and perspectives. A 231,000-square-foot residence hall is under construction near the Campus Green at the University of Alabama. The new residence will help meet increased demand for on-campus housing and it will join six other residence halls when completed this Fall. The U-shaped building adds space for 730 additional students and consists of dedicated study spaces, a storm shelter, multi-use office space, and a dining venue with three food vendors. For this project, MillerClapperton is fabricating and installing 9,566 square feet of Metal Composite Material.
