Prince William County broke ground earlier this year on a new middle school at Potomac Shores. Located along River Heritage Boulevard, the school will help relieve near-overcrowding at several area schools. The 197,954 square-foot middle school will have the capacity for 1,464 students, and it will house a grade level on each of its three stories. Once completed, students will enjoy an 800-seat auditorium, a secure courtyard, labs, group activity rooms, and extended learning areas for project-based learning and group work. For this project, MillerClapperton is fabricating and installing 25,870 square feet of Metal Composite Material.
