The UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is expanding to accommodate the growing demand for the Center’s services. The two-year transformation expands the current Center by adding 10,000 square feet and a new patient-centric footprint. Within the new Center will be expanded and renovated clinic areas, including 22 physician exam rooms. The infusion area is expanding to 28 chemotherapy bays with a focus on calmness, healing, and comfort, in addition to upgrades to the existing pharmacy. For this project, MillerClapperton is fabricating 5,600 square of Fiber Cement material.

In honor of World Photography Day, ArchDaily “gathered a list of 10 BIPOC architectural photographers from around the world who are worth knowing – and following on Instagram. The photographers themselves have also been recognized on several lists that are being constantly updated in order to promote diversity in the photography industry. The idea behind these platforms is to allow Architects, Designers, Creative Directors, and art consumers in general, to discover photographers that identify themselves as Black, Indigenous, People of Color available for assignments and commissions.”
