The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority announced plans to consolidate its workforce by building two new office buildings – one in Prince George County, MD and one in Alexandria, VA. The buildings will accommodate the majority of the transit authority’s professional workforce. The New Carrollton, MD office will be located adjacent to the New Carrollton Metro Station and are designed with the goal of achieving LEED Platinum certification. MillerClapperton will be fabricating 15,300 square feet of Metal Composite Material for the project.
