A new Margaritaville Vacation Club in downtown Atlanta recently opened to the public at the corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Nassau Street. The Jimmy Buffet-branded resort complex reaches 21-stories and offers 207 timeshare units ranging from studios to four-bedroom suites. The project also features two floors of retail and 14,200 square feet of dedicated restaurant space, in addition to a pool and fitness center on the 19th floor. MillerClapperton fabricated and installed 110,300 square feet of Metal Composite Material, 8,000 square feet of Profiled Single Skin, and 3,300 square feet of PlankPanels-EXT for the project.

A new primary school opened this past Fall in the Bleckley County school system. The primary school replaced a Pre-K through 2 school, which had an additional wing for Pre-K. Rather than separate buildings for Pre-K and Primary, they are now under one roof. The new school offers more educational opportunities including updated special needs classrooms. MillerClapperton fabricated and installed 4,500 square feet of Metal Composite Material and 24,000 square feet of Profiled Single Skin for the project.

1105 West Peachtree, located in Atlanta, is a tri-tower mixed-use development. The overall development covers an entire city block in Atlanta’s busy Midtown district. MillerClapperton fabricated and installed materials for all portions of the project, including the 31-story, 730,000-square-foot office tower. MillerClapperton fabricated 59,800 square feet of Metal Composite Material for the project’s exterior, including office column frames, spandrels and fascia for the balconies.
To ensure the finished product matched the design intent for the project, the company developed new fabrication and installation methods that ultimately paid off for this custom application of Metal Composite Material. The work on this project took one year to plan and 15 months to install, totaling 2.5 years from kickoff through to completion.

Located only five minutes from downtown Nashville on a popular corner of Broadway, a new mixed-use project delivers a hotel and residences at the doorsteps of everything the city has to offer. The 282’ high superstructure contains the hotel Fraye, a Curio Collection by Hilton, which spans 16 stories and 200 rooms, while the residential building is 26 stories high with 347 units, and sits atop a loft-like brick base podium that embraces the historical aesthetic values found on Broadway. MillerClapperton fabricated and installed 33,800 square feet of Metal Composite Material and 17,700 of Perforate Aluminum in total for all three portions of the project.

The construction of the Atrium Health Carolina Rehabilitation facility is the first step, of many, in the modernization of Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center campus. This new facility is a one-of-a-kind regional rehabilitation hospital, thoughtfully designed with the latest state-of-the-art technology and programs to better serve patients and the surrounding communities. Boasting some impressive numbers, the new specialized hospital delivers a 150,000-square-foot replacement hospital, 70 private patient rooms, a 9,300 square-foot outpatient clinic, an outdoor therapy challenge garden, an aquatic therapy program, and a center for independent living. For this project, MillerClapperton fabricated and installed 49,690 square feet of Metal Composite Material and 4,035 square feet of Profile Single Skin.
