MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center is undergoing an expansion and renovation, the largest expansion in their more-than-40-year history. Once complete, the hospital will have a state-of-the-art emergency department (ED), providing the Prince George County community and Southern Maryland residents with the best possible emergency care. The project adds a total of 40 ED treatment rooms plus an additional 18,000 square feet, an improved waiting room complete with a 24-hour café, and a new front entrance. MillerClapperton is fabricating and installing 13,376 square feet of Metal Composite Material and 2,498 square feet of Single Skin Material for the project.
