#1 HIGH-PERFORMANCE BUILDINGS

“What does a high-performance, sustainable building look like? Are there obvious clues in the building form, the façade articulation or the materials palette? Or are the green features hidden? Would you only experience it in your improved comfort, or when paying the utility bills?”

In his recent article for Metal Architecture, sustainable building expert, Alan Scott, explores the possibilities and limitations of high-performance sustainable buildings. To read the full article, visit Metal Architecture.

With this season’s unpredictable weather and seemingly drastic temperature fluctuations from day to day, we’ve seen a lot of fog in our area recently.  While it can sometimes be dangerous or simply an inconvenience, it can also set the scene for some amazing photography.  ArchDaily compiled the best photos of the week featuring ‘Architecture in the Fog’ and the images are nothing short of spectacular.  Click here to see more.
