Some may be surprised to learn that Zinc is considered a transition metal, which is actually a group of metals, and it is listed as the 30th element on the periodic table. Found abundantly in nature, it is the fourth most common metal available today. Zinc offers excellent corrosion resistance and is known for its malleability, which makes it a desirable material to use for complex forms in facades and roofs. If you are still not convinced of Zinc’s suitability for facades, consider the fact that it does not require any special maintenance, and 100% of rolled or worked Zinc products are recyclable at the end of their life cycle. Get inspired for your next project with this collection of 20 zinc-coated buildings.
