Metal roofing is an excellent choice for all types of buildings due to its durability and longevity.  But with the decision of selecting a metal roof for your building comes many factors to consider such as metal type, thickness, configurations, connections, underlayment, installation, codes, and standards. 

Metal roofing options include a diverse selection of materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, and zinc. For example, a copper roof offers durability for many years while also accumulating an elegant patina over time.  After choosing a metal type, a thickness must be selected.  Thickness not only effects pricing, but also the installation process.  Once these decisions are made, one must then consider the configurations and connections, as well as underlayment and insulation.
