Kubota Manufacturing of America opened a new Research & Development Center for riding mowers, utility vehicles, tractor implements, and other products developed primarily in North America. The new, 133,000-square-foot facility has space for offices, a turf farm, high-speed vehicle test course, a trail course, and a vehicle test site including a digging field. There’s also a bench testing facility with a low-temperature test building to test M8 tractors, Kubota’s highest horsepower tractor. For this project, MillerClapeprton fabricated and installed 2,900 square feet of Metal Composite Material, 2,500 square feet of High-Pressure Laminate Panels and 2,700 square feet of Fiber Cement panels.

Dezeen put together a round up of 10 residential buildings with Corten steel facades. From a micro-home in Lithuania, a U.S. house with pyramidal roofs and a Belgian guesthouse with a watchtower, these residences are all remarkable in themselves but have been further enhanced with the addition of Corten steel.
