#1 AIA ARCHITECTURAL BILLINGS INDEX



The American Institute of Architects Economics and Market Research Group is expecting a strong start to the year based on data collected within the reports of the Architecture Billings Index (ABI), which indicates a large increase from 51.7 for October to 55.0 in November.  The ABI is a leading economic indicator for nonresidential construction activity.

#2 NINE BIG DESIGN TRENDS THAT WILL SHAPE 2018



After a hectic year in 2017, design leaders are planning on taking 2018 by storm. Breaking the rules and facing new challenges is the name of the game.  Fast Co. #3 WINTER WEATHER CHECK | SNOW RETENTION SYSTEMS

#4 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT

723 Lincoln Road 
723 Lincoln Road is one of the newest developments on the North side of Miami Beach, Florida.  This new, three-story, 44,504 square foot retail complex is currently home to Marshalls and The Lincoln Eatery food hall coming later in the year.  MillerClapperton fabricated and installed the 5,095 square feet of Metal Composite Material for the canopy stretching along the side of this building.

#5 CURRENT PROJECT

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta | Center For Advanced Pediatrics 
Construction of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s (CHOA) Center for Advanced Pediatrics is nearing completion.  The center is situated adjacent to CHOA’s new hospital at the 70-acre North Druid Hills Campus at North Druid Hills Road and I-85.  The 260,000-square-foot facility will bring complex care specialists, state-of-the-art technology and leading-edge research for outpatient care under one roof. 

MillerClapperton is pleased to be a part of this very special project with the fabrication and installation of 5,500 square feet of high pressure laminate panels, 11,000 square feet of terracotta tiles and 3,000 square feet of profiled single skin metal panels.
