IN THIS WEEK’S FRIDAY5

Color has played a major role in our evolutionary history, serving as a visual language for humanity and the natural environment alike. Color has come to define societies and spaces where we live and interact, so it’s no surprise that color has become more than just decoration. The same can be said for building design where color communicates and transmits meaning, influencing how we view and interact with those spaces. More and more designers are finding creative ways to make a statement through color on the inside and outside of buildings, which can set them apart from their surroundings by evoking emotion and even changing the entire landscape around it.

Brightly colored metal panels are one way designers are incorporating color into their projects and adding new dimension to great architectural design. Color can not only be used for creating visual interest, but also to represent corporate identity or to create a sense of community at a school for example. Learn more about how color can make a big impact on projects and how metal can be a great choice for designers below.
