An exhibit at Milan Design Week dispels the popular myth that architects are messy by their nature. “From chaos comes creation, so the phrase goes.” Where Architects Live offers a glimpse into the personal spaces of eight significant architects and satisfies our curiosity about what their homes look like. After curator Francesa Molteni interviewed each of the designers in their private homes, she came away with one finding: architects are actually quite tidy. The Works at Chattahoochee is an 80-acre Upper Westside development outside Atlanta. Renovations on the historic industrial area began in late 2017 and new tenants are lining up for what is poised to be a vibrant mixed-use community. The master plan preserves the character of Atlanta’s historic industrial Upper Westside, while infusing new retail, office, residential, entertainment, and open spaces to complete the multi-phase development. MillerClapperton is currently fabricating 13,025 square feet of 1/8″ Plate Aluminum for the project’s parking deck.
