There are more sustainable products than ever before, and as awareness of the built environment’s impact on human health and wellbeing grows, building managers and facilities teams are faced with an abundance of claims, certifications and product information to evaluate. The challenge is understanding the certifications and transparency claims, as well as the product lifecycle to ensure sustainable products maintain value over the life of the building.

FAT Village is a 5.6-acre mixed-use creative office, retail and residential urban development organized around a pedestrian-scale internal street network. Located just north of downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL, the project transforms Flagler Village with a new office building, two towers with 850 apartments, and 84,000 square feet of retail and restaurants. MillerClapperton is fabricating and installing 26,600 square feet of Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels and 470 square feet of soffit panels for the 180,000-square-foot, six-story office building.

We’re beginning the search for a new CRM since ours will be discontinued next year, and it’s raised a question I hadn’t really considered before.

Almost every CRM we’ve evaluated is built around a specific contact. That makes perfect sense if your business revolves around managing sales relationships.

But in the world of subcontracting, is that really how we think?

The 2026 World Cup may be over, but it’s never too early to start looking ahead to the 2030 World Cup, which will be played across three continents and in more stadiums than ever before. Games will be hosted in 11 stadiums in Spain, as well as six in Morrocco and three in Portugal. Additionally, Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay are each hosting one of the three opening games in hour of the centenary of the inaugural World Cup that was held in Uruguay in 1930.
