Completed ahead of the Fall 2024 semester, the University of North Georgia’s Cumming Campus expansion added 27,300 square feet of academic space to support continued growth along the Ga. 400 corridor. The addition allows the campus to serve up to 2,200 students and supports the university’s expanding healthcare and technology-focused degree programs. The expansion builds upon the existing 36,000-square-foot academic building with new classrooms, computer labs, faculty offices, collaborative study spaces, a campus police suite, and a state-of-the-art nursing simulation lab complete with debrief rooms and support spaces. MillerClapperton fabricated and installed 1,050 square feet of Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels for the project.
