IN THIS WEEK’S FRIDAY5

This week, Zeke Miller talks about the importance of substrate tolerances in  Episode 9 of ‘Ask the Panel Guys.’ In this episode, you’ll learn about the accepted tolerances for different components of the wall assembly and tips for how to ensure your project adheres to these tolerances. It’s no surprise that having flat substrates, within tolerance, helps us to do our job so we can install panels correctly and efficiently, to ultimately keep the job moving forward. If you don’t already subscribe to our YouTube channel, we invite you to join us and ensure you never miss an episode!

Recommendation: Life Kit by NPR

I am a self-proclaimed podcast junkie! I always enjoy learning something new, whether I’m uncovering a nugget of wisdom that can help me at work or  discovering how to become the best version of myself. I’m also never one to shy away from a good story because storytelling, after all, is at the core of what I do. One of my all-time favorite podcasts is Snap Judgment. It’s storytelling with a beat, and I can’t tell you how many stories have stuck with me over the years.

But, if I’m being pragmatic, I’d like to share another favorite with you – Life Kit from NPR. It is a compilation of guides for navigating life, covering everything from finances to sleep and exercise, and even parenting. Each guide covers more complex questions over the span of a few episodes like, How to Buy A House (which was helpful for me) or Eat Your Way to A Healthier Life. I hope you enjoy it!
