The Edgewood Recreation Center is replacing the existing community center with a larger, state-of-the-art facility, which will contain an indoor gymnasium, fitness room, multipurpose rooms, computers, youth and senior lounges, and a rooftop farm. The 16,000 square-foot recreation center is poised to bring needed resources to the community once completed. The new center is one more step toward building the healthiest, greenest, and most sustainable city in the world, according to the city’s mayor. For this project, MillerClapperton is fabricating 5,424 square feet of Metal Composite Material, 1,051 square feet of Single Skin, and 6,424 square feet of Fiber Cement.
