Travelling to new places can often give us new perspectives and offer inspiration, but some cities are better than others if you are looking for the top centers for innovative design. A new report ranks the best 25 US cities to get inspired based on numerous data points such as the number of important architectural landmarks, the number of art museums, and the number of university programs offering majors in design. The cities in the top five spots are New York, San Francisco, Seattle, San Diego, and Miami.  Atlanta, which is home to MillerClapperton, also made the list. Wahconah Regional High School opened this past Fall and held its ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this year. The $72 million project is designed for the future of learning and incorporates high-tech utilities with a layout that encourages collaboration. A new common area is designed for student interaction in addition to pod-style classrooms, and an auditorium that can fit the entire student body. The new school was built beside the former high school, which was demolished as soon as students and teachers were able to transfer to the new building. The cleared area will make way for a new sports fields for the school. MillerClapperton fabricated 2,400 square feet of Metal Composite Material for the project.
