Opened in 2023, the ALDI Distribution Center and Regional Headquarters in Loxley, AL, sits on 150 acres in the industrial and warehousing district. The 564,000-square-foot facility serves 100 stores and reaches more than 8 million customers along the Gulf Coast in Alabama, Mississippi, the Florida panhandle and Louisiana. This was the company’s 26th regional headquarters and distribution center, and the sixth to open in the southeastern United States. The new facility was designed with sustainability in mind, with roof-mounted solar panels, LED lighting, an environmentally friendly refrigeration system and more. For this project, MillerClapperton fabricated and installed 14,600 square feet of Alucobond Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels.
