GC America is expanding its headquarters in Alsip, IL from 95,000 square feet to 150,000, allowing them to consolidate operations from several nearby locations to one central location. The expansion of the dental products company will consist of a warehouse, office, and training center with immediate plans to house all 300 employees with growth for 350 employees. For this project, MillerClapperton fabricated 4,030 square feet of Metal Composite Material.

Good to Great by Jim Collins may be one of the most referenced business books throughout the entrepreneurial world. Good to Great is a management book by Jim Collins that describes how companies transition from being good companies to great companies. If you haven’t read it, you should. I revisit the principles and findings from this book often and try to re-read it every year. Inside you will find great foundational business principles that we should all consider. One of my favorite principles is about finding the right people to get on the bus and finding out where they sit.
