The new three-story, 77,000-square-foot North County Wellness Center is a new health center and office building that will expand the San Mateo County Health System’s ability to deliver primary patient care for residents of North San Mateo County, a traditionally underserved population. Expected to open in 2026, the facility will primarily serve individuals and families who receive care through Medi-Cal or are eligible for Medi-Cal, which provides free or low-cost programs. Additionally, the building will also provide satellite offices for the District Attorney and Treasurer/Tax Collector. Designed by SmithGroup, the building is expected to be LLED Certified. For this project, MillerClapperton will be fabricating 7,500 square feet of Fiber Cement panels.
