#1 CURSED ARCHITECTURE | THE BEST OF THE WORST

Whether it’s critiquing the bric-a-brac nature of suburban homes assembled by the nouveau-riche or posting abject failures, the demand for “bad design” to critique seems endless.

The worst offenders are frequently aggregated on Instagram, meme-y Facebook pages, and Twitter accounts, full of packaged and shared design failures for new audiences. View the Cursed Architecture Twitter account, which has posted baffling and incomplete architecture you’ll have to see to believe here.

#2 45 CONSTRUCTION TERMS & CONCEPTS

Some things can’t be taught in the classroom, instead, they’re acquired through years of work on site and solving problems first-hand. Among the many things an architect may learn on site, are the terminologies used by construction workers that can sound like absolute nonsense at first.

An architecture dictionary might seem like a superb idea, but in practice wouldn’t be convenient on a construction site. Alternatively, find a more manageable list of 45 construction terms and concepts every architect should know here.

#3 MOST SCENIC RESTAURANTS IN THE US

Choosing a restaurant comes down to three things: cuisine, location, and ambiance. For travelers seeking out great food in new and unfamiliar places, it’s always a welcome bonus to get at a table with a view. Feasting on local fare while also drinking in gorgeous scenery or the fabulous lights of a big city will make any meal more satisfying.

OpenTable identified 100 of the Most Scenic Restaurants in the United States. View the most breathtaking views for people who want a feast for more than their stomachs here.
