The use of color in architecture can have incredible results, although few architects dare to do it. In a recent compilation of projects that don’t shy away from eye-popping hues, ArchDaily shows us that there is huge potential when utilizing color. See more here.

When you approach a building’s exterior design, it’s difficult not to pay attention to the facade and the selection of cladding materials, however, we often overlook the simplicity of entryways, which can easily escape our attention. But, in a place where homes and exteriors look similar from one to the next, unique doors and entries are a way to set each of them apart.
In Morocco, doors are often set into dramatic archways and surrounded by intricate tile work and metal work while bold colors accentuate the smallest of details. The result is bold and beautiful design that takes center stage. See more from the photo collection of Moorish architecture doors here.
