President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to make classical architecture the preferred style for new civic buildings in the U.S. The Marking Federal Architecture Beautiful Again executive order builds on the Promoting Beautiful Federal Civic Architecture executive order that he signed on his first day back in office, requesting suggestions on how to update the government’s Guiding principles for federal architecture. This new executive order also echoes the aims of the Promoting Beautiful Federal Civic Architecture issued in his first presidential term.

Samford University completed a renovation and addition to Seibert Hall last year. The project added an additional 20,000 square feet to the original building. The 165,000-square-foot recreation, wellness and athletic complex features indoor basketball, racquetball and pickleball courts, a jogging track, fitness studio for spin, yoga, pilates, Zumba and barre core classes. The center also has a state-of-the-art weight room and multipurpose workout area, along with an e-sports lounge, coffeehouse and 24-hour convenience store. For this project, MillerClapperton fabricated and installed 1,300 square feet of Metal Composite Material (MCM) panels
